It’s undoubtedly going to be challenging time for coworking in the next 6-12 months, but long-term I firmly believe that the pandemic will accelerate the demand for flex space, especially coworking space. The crisis has been the catalyst for trends that were emerging long before lockdown, like agile working. As businesses look to downsize their space and embrace a more agile approach, they will look to flex space to provide this, and as a result, we’re likely to eventually see a buoyant coworking market.
